Hey everyone! I have another card to share from Paper Smooches! For my card I'm sharing today, I used the beautiful A Holy Holiday stamp set. I stamped the deer in both gold and silver pigment ink, to get a look resembling mercury glass. Then I masked the deer off and added some masks I made using Birch Trees Dies~Love them! I masked off the trees and blended some pigment inks to create a winter background. Then I removed one layer of the birch tree dies to add some black soot ink lightly, to make the birch trees background. I added the sentiment from A Blessed Christmas and added a small frame popped up a bit. I love how this turned out, so elegant...without being fussy!

Hey everyone! I've been playing with my Paper Smooches stash, and having sooo much fun! For today's card, I wanted to make the cute Fox and Penguin (Chilly Chums) peeking through a window. So I used the Polaroid Dies to make a quick window. I colored my animals with Copics and had to used the Hats Dies, too cute for words! I used Bitty Bungalows for the sentiment, and added Holly Dies for a pop of color. The shocker is, I used patterned paper! Even though I really prefer clean and simple, I broke out of my little safe zone of white, lol! The woodgrain paper was perfect, I think!

Hey everyone! I wanted to share some of my Paper Smooches love fest today! I having been making cards all month, and just now getting around to posting them. I knew when I ordered Zoo Crew stamp set months ago, I wanted to use the Camels to represent the three wise men. Luckily, I found a crown in the A Little Lovin' set to make my plan work, lol. I really prefer clean and simple designs, so I have been trying to branch out a little and create more cards with backgrounds and even pattern paper...I do love a challenge! I masked off the Camels, crowns and palm trees (from Get Outta Town) and used distress inks to create the sand and sky. I colored my images with Copic markers and then used my gold wink of stella marker for the crowns. I inset the town of Bethlehem (A Blessed Christmas) to make it appear to be in the distance. This card was so fun to make!

I really do love ALL stamps, I just can't seem to get enough of Mama Elephant stamp sets lately though! We are currently in the middle of moving/relocating, and selling our home. So my craft room is mostly all packed, and I am borrowing part of my hubbies desk...So any papercrafting I am doing right now, is no easy task, lol! That, and I generally have my mind preoccupied with worry/excitement for our new adventure. But, I have a million cards swirling in my head, so I had to make time to play. I made a shaker card with a window as a Christmas card. All dies and stamps I used were from Mama Elephant. I hope you like it, it was so fun to make!

Hey everyone! I have been playing with Paper Smooches stamps, LOVE them!!! If you have seen any of my Youtube video's....You know they are my latest obsession, and I want every set they make! Today I have an Easter card to share with you. I wanted to make a card that was cute, but still incorporate the reason for celebrating Easter....I've never mixed a cross with cute chicks before, but I think it turned out pretty cute! I used acetate to create a window card. I masked the stamps to create the backside of the images I used on the front of my card. Then I used various Paper Smooches stamp sets, and Mini Monograms to stamp out "More than the birds in the sky". I love how it turned out, and hope you all like it too! All supplies listed at the end of my post.
Hey everyone! I'm a little late posting, but I wanted to share some cute little cards I made for my kiddos. We have always given our kids gifts for Valentines day. When I was growing up, my mom would always have a little heart shaped box of chocolates waiting for us at the table. When I was in 7th grade, I went to a friends house. She was an only child, and her parents gave her a diamond necklace. We had four children in my family, so no one was getting any diamonds until they got married, lol! Now that I have y own family, I try to mix it up at our house. One year I got my son who loves animals a guinea pig, and my daughter a talking dog she had wanted forever. She decided she wanted a guinea pig instead. That was fun making a home for two guinea pigs! Some years, they would just get a little candy and a movie. But, then I found myself getting my daughter pair of diamond earrings with a necklace. I think I paid about $100 for both, and she loved them. I look back, and think it was a bit much. I think I just wanting to remember getting something really nice for Valentine's one time...Luckily for me, my kids get excited and are grateful, no matter what we spend. This year I found the cutest little mailboxes at Target, and stuffed it with candy and a Target gift card. Then I made them each a quick little card using Mama Elephant stamps, can't get enough of these little cute stamps!
The mailboxes were the perfect size for a gift card and some kisses!
For my 17 year old son...Getting harder to make cards for him, some I knew her would laugh when he read the inside!
Then, I could leave my hubby out...Funny, I bought him a "real" card that played a song at Target to go with his gift. I always feel funny giving him handmade cards. But, a week later...I found the card I made him in his car, and the store bought card still where he opened it!
Supplies used:
Stamps: Pandamonium, Tiny Heroes~Mama Elephant
Sentiment Stamps: Love Quotes~Mama Elephant; Smarty Pants~Paper Smooches
Markers: Copic, Wink of Stella glitter brush (clear & black)
Hello everyone! I know I'm a little late posting, but we a great Valentine's Day around our house! My youngest son loves science, he wants to be a scientist when he grows up. So when it came time to make Valentines for his class, I was so happy to find the perfect stamp set already in my stash! My son and I made them together, and had so much fun! We used the super fun stamp set from Paper Smooches, Great Chemistry. I taught him how to use various shades of Copic markers to shade, and he loved it! Ok...I have only been making cards and using Copics for about two years...But, I taught him what I've learned anyway! :) I die cut some tags to glue the pieces on. Then we attached the tags to "test tubes" from CTMH, and my son had fun filling them with skittles.
For his Valentine's box~We took his Lego Avengers box from last year, and re-used it. Whew~that is the worst part to me...That saved me hours! My son did the stamping, and we each colored half of the scientist. Then I let my ScanNcut cut all the little pieces...He wanted to make his box look like a mad scientist, with his lab exploding. So I put adhesive on the pieces, and let him attach all of the stamped test tubes and other images where ever he liked. We borrowed a lightbulb and connector set from one of his real science kits. Maybe it was because it was my idea, but I think it turned out pretty awesome! I got to help with his school party, and all the kids LOVED it. The working lightbulb was a huge hit, and got us stopped in the hallway by teachers wanting to check it out too. Here are some pics:
Supplies used:

Markers: Copic
Paper: Poppy, Papertrey Ink

Hey everyone! I have a Christmas card I made to share with you today. I used a beautiful stamp set, Mary and Babe. It was super quick and simple, I colored it using our ShinHan markers. I love the simplicity of it. I paired it with a must have stamp set, Reason for the Season.
Hey everyone! So, I have had many requests for me to share my craft room. Not sure if you guys are more interested in seeing how I store my stash? Or what the whole area looks like... But, here is my biggest secret to contend with my slight OCD tendencies...I sell items on ebay or donate what I haven't used in two years! Your local Goodwill will sell, or recycle any items for free. I get more done the less visual clutter I see. So~I have been busy re-organizing my craft room, yet again! I wonder if I am the only one who enjoys finding the *perfect* new way to store my stamps and scrapbooking stash? Is it because it is the only place in my home I can let my OCD tendencies out? Or the fact I can keep everything neat and tidy...and come back days later to find everything still neat and tidy? I have no clue, but I have a feeling other crafters will understand! I love to use items to store my craft supplies in everyday objects, not meant for craft storage. I change my mind WAY too often, so what I'm using today could be in my bedroom next year and visa versa. My storage for my Copic markers, for example. It is a silverware caddy I bought at Costco a few years ago. I really only use it for holidays and large family gatherings, so instead of getting dusty in my creepy closet...It keeps my markers divided and I think it's prettier than a plastic marker case. So, I hope you like my room and get some inspiration for your craft space! ;) I also broke out of my comfort zone and made a Youtube Video of my room, to share some of my storage ideas. My friends who know me well, will have a good laugh at me I'm sure. Yes, I was super nervous and my video is far from perfect. I did my best not to say super cute repeatedly... I think videos are just something you have to practice to get good at them. I will put the link to my video below the pics.
