Etchr recently reached out to me to try some of their products. I have a full review and demonstration on my YouTube channel. Let me just say, I never loved a sketchbook until I tried a sketchbook from Etchr. The paper is 100% cotton, so I can finally use any product on every page...exactly what I want from a sketchbook. I highly recommend you try one! </p><p><br /></p><p>Here is a photo of the lemon I painted.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ONWajgOUsq8" width="320" youtube-src-id="ONWajgOUsq8"></iframe></div><br /><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWYtZTY9oEyFWsdj2sAN-PT-hnOe2uDNmPD6X71wPLLLSrmEc0O1aL7m6eJgr10KMrVtZku8QyGkPA9PzYX-ILHIwVNVF2dR7QLDDjPuPC52a2Lep_IVhqb6AUY3ECmGM6l2rYlKwcGltGE5dDlvDd7eq7t6nmof2SwSNGyz2MYPrCt0V54pouBU3_mA/s4032/IMG_8909.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWYtZTY9oEyFWsdj2sAN-PT-hnOe2uDNmPD6X71wPLLLSrmEc0O1aL7m6eJgr10KMrVtZku8QyGkPA9PzYX-ILHIwVNVF2dR7QLDDjPuPC52a2Lep_IVhqb6AUY3ECmGM6l2rYlKwcGltGE5dDlvDd7eq7t6nmof2SwSNGyz2MYPrCt0V54pouBU3_mA/w480-h640/IMG_8909.JPG" width="480" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><p><br /></p>Stephanie Davishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755654773604552885noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-599657331144680969.post-78601714313143958242022-06-28T19:47:00.005-05:002022-06-28T19:59:01.125-05:00Paul Rubens Shi Yun Watercolor Review<p><span face="Roboto, Noto, sans-serif" style="background-color: white; color: #0d0d0d; font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap;">Hello, everyone! Such a clever design with dense foam to hold the pencils, genius. They have beautiful, vibrant colors. I felt they blend really well, and to me they layer better than Prismacolors. They are not as buttery smooth as Prismacolors, but I also did not have any breakage and wax bloom. I really enjoyed using them, and they are my favorite budget set I have been set for review, to date. It is so nice to review a set and not have to say, they a nice if you don't already have a dozen budget sets. ( Which is the nicest way I can think of to say pencils are ok, but nothing special ;D ) I really hope Arrtx expands the color line as well as brings us watercolor pencils. ;)</p>Stephanie Davishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755654773604552885noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-599657331144680969.post-26314662246470145352022-05-20T18:23:00.001-05:002022-05-20T18:23:07.256-05:00Sketchmarker Aqua Markers<p> Hello everyone! Today I have a review for the Aqua Markers from Sketchmarker. These were kindly sent to me from Sketchmarker for review. They were very fun to use, felt very high quality. For my first painting with them I used Canson Watercolor paper. I'm really not a fan of this paper, but these markers work best on cellulose paper. I recommend trying different paper with these. If you use the markers directly on cotton paper, it will leave harsh lines but if you use a palette first you can achieve beautiful results. </p><p> </p><p>I have a video on my YouTube channel if you would like to see the full review, as well as a demo of painting a giraffe with them. </p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Ae_Rwea2wpI" width="320" youtube-src-id="Ae_Rwea2wpI"></iframe></div><br /><p><br /></p><p>Thank you to Sketchmarker for sending me these beautiful Aqua Markers. I hope you are all doing well! </p><p>It's been quite awhile since I posted on my blog. I have some artwork to share today! Paul Rubens kindly sent me a some new products and I've used them to paint a humpback Whale. I have a video on my YouTube channel if you would like to see my painting in process, as well swatching from the new watercolor set.</p><p>I used a <a href="https://amzn.to/3vp2zBM">Mop brush</a> and the <a href="https://amzn.to/3EWE5CS">Paul Rubens Emerald Watercolor set</a> to paint a Humpback Whale on the 100% Cotton <a href="https://amzn.to/3vqCDpn">Watercolor Block</a>. After painting the whale I added splatters with Magenta, Indigo and gold from the <a href="https://amzn.to/3MARSlh">Paul Rubens GUCAI watercolor set</a> . It was so much fun, and yes...I love the new pretty palette! I'm always a bit of a sucker for pretty packaging. I really did enjoy all of the products! Thank you to Paul Rubens for sending them to me! ;D</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/z0yJ0rV-oKs" width="320" youtube-src-id="z0yJ0rV-oKs"></iframe></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6TBHPnP2Mn--5yf-jkyRZV2n_HDYi8vmyYTgCkCJOZCGtIoAHexJjX6vHHDbXPyG_9D2jmVl6GYo0LfH6feYi4nSy5ox1pLHMDTYFs1TdUE9h9KdyDOzpyNj_ry00IE4LFO-Kh0DJtCoN7u8VsEafJhMSajALSHpEsPoZ_G32HM1UHgp3OUzxNb-AzA/s4032/IMG_7740.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="4032" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6TBHPnP2Mn--5yf-jkyRZV2n_HDYi8vmyYTgCkCJOZCGtIoAHexJjX6vHHDbXPyG_9D2jmVl6GYo0LfH6feYi4nSy5ox1pLHMDTYFs1TdUE9h9KdyDOzpyNj_ry00IE4LFO-Kh0DJtCoN7u8VsEafJhMSajALSHpEsPoZ_G32HM1UHgp3OUzxNb-AzA/w640-h480/IMG_7740.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2SzkJ9IiaBT6L6OXLhOEE8jYqYi5S5GbpxFD68rTiYsHuLZMi9rA-FDaD-YvFT7dn6rDm0qtf-jaRO8iEXcNyddFynSGiU7Tp7mBNjx_2fgrIPuhMemzanGltibDbGsW1SYwuiAhhTzPY_U65iCOloXicn0MV0fHbjpvSQwufHR2QnBZjzu4gnYPiwA/s4032/IMG_7742.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="4032" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2SzkJ9IiaBT6L6OXLhOEE8jYqYi5S5GbpxFD68rTiYsHuLZMi9rA-FDaD-YvFT7dn6rDm0qtf-jaRO8iEXcNyddFynSGiU7Tp7mBNjx_2fgrIPuhMemzanGltibDbGsW1SYwuiAhhTzPY_U65iCOloXicn0MV0fHbjpvSQwufHR2QnBZjzu4gnYPiwA/w640-h480/IMG_7742.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfX56iUdGdySy5lKPeAaA_05-RPbpI7hH7M_LEroz8tP-V3F0YBglYuQF_qVih5IrEF9XQ1ZGsEFzKFHLdx78ZQBJDDOP6806o3HkM5ClB0pY4_0r5l-bMwJ1GDfwYMpsZiaJlMk26bRQTkfKK3N4iqftwQEHGxxwF236_Jhm9JBmzWDsVY_qhTMfiqQ/s3518/IMG_E7881.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2816" data-original-width="3518" height="512" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfX56iUdGdySy5lKPeAaA_05-RPbpI7hH7M_LEroz8tP-V3F0YBglYuQF_qVih5IrEF9XQ1ZGsEFzKFHLdx78ZQBJDDOP6806o3HkM5ClB0pY4_0r5l-bMwJ1GDfwYMpsZiaJlMk26bRQTkfKK3N4iqftwQEHGxxwF236_Jhm9JBmzWDsVY_qhTMfiqQ/w640-h512/IMG_E7881.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"></td></tr></tbody></table><br /><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><br /><p>Take care!</p><p>~Stephanie</p>Stephanie Davishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755654773604552885noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-599657331144680969.post-59090335450419821032020-11-07T13:44:00.041-06:002022-04-28T19:41:10.229-05:00New haul video and card share!<div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br />Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing three cards, as I'm still trying to play catch up from moving and enjoy some fall crafty goodness... I've shared all the product info in my <a href="https://youtu.be/egrGDdpMHD8">YouTube video</a>, if you would like to check that out.<br /><br />The good news is we have four of five beds put together, LOL! My daughter still wants to wait to put her bed together, as the previous owner had a train room...she wants to remove the mountain border and all of the shelves and paint first before she puts her bed together. So, she has opted for sleeping with her box springs and mattress on the floor for now. Hopefully, I will have time to do all of that sometime before Christmas?!? Any tips on removing wallpaper borders will be most appreciated! ;) Anyhoo....Back to the card share! I'm still yet to have my craft/art studio just right, but I can find most of my favorite must haves anyway.</p><p>I made three fun cards, the first was a plain and simple card from MFT using the Autumn blessings stamp set. I love this set so much, and can see it being a fall favorite for years to come! Next a made my Design Team project for the Not2Shabby Shop, using Magical Winter stamp set for the adorable fox. Next I was dying to play with the super cute Den Sweet Den stamp set from Lawn Fawn. When I saw the release, I couldn't wait to make the mama bear hold her babies! The die set is a MUST have, it allows you to cut out the outline of the bears arms, and slip something to hold inside!! Books, coffee, babies, whatever you choose! Yet another stamp set from the Lawn Fawn Release that will be hard to not use over and over again. I'm playing along with the <a href="LAWN FAWNATICS CHALLENGE 85 – AWESOME AUTUMN">LAWN FAWNATICS CHALLENGE 85 – AWESOME AUTUMN</a>...yes two in one month. Usually I can't get time to post one before the month has passed me by, lol. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhn89HdFwdFx185m2LOxiGFpXlsT5EiHFwW5KX-y0a9MiDV8a19UAeu3WcTzu0TIRxmRyIXAjrLjRzQcbxX9CJqTJxc6OyvxM6C-rfPaL3U5_byfFt1P894TyMAzKwZ7LyjzTV-XoqEp2Ra/s2048/IMG_0150.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1575" data-original-width="2048" height="492" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhn89HdFwdFx185m2LOxiGFpXlsT5EiHFwW5KX-y0a9MiDV8a19UAeu3WcTzu0TIRxmRyIXAjrLjRzQcbxX9CJqTJxc6OyvxM6C-rfPaL3U5_byfFt1P894TyMAzKwZ7LyjzTV-XoqEp2Ra/w640-h492/IMG_0150.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2048" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiF6aLwLUq8BGWgZEVZcfqzkscEjUiVpoDsHFL1IyYQmT-lcERY6uSUhmMG1KnwFjFHgEUO2Qt7PB95b900tApVA0k7pA_2jcsDTJw8NhyphenhyphendKrK38Jnp0wOs-DYTqa4Axsn9mQRsYvgov2qK/w640-h480/IMG_0145.JPG" style="text-align: left;" width="640" /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLtT1rr2R4JYKjNMMBETCHepQK375JTmXMZEYD_rdEgH0I9Z7N6ktO2o31_PRzM3l246Tzhyphenhyphen1V3h0a0GC2CJNKHQpuIlUmg7Mk4p78XewaQYzq-iDSDO78EgLTCyPFsSIRjMHLc_3ud7Gb/s2048/KKUG6764.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1593" data-original-width="2048" height="498" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLtT1rr2R4JYKjNMMBETCHepQK375JTmXMZEYD_rdEgH0I9Z7N6ktO2o31_PRzM3l246Tzhyphenhyphen1V3h0a0GC2CJNKHQpuIlUmg7Mk4p78XewaQYzq-iDSDO78EgLTCyPFsSIRjMHLc_3ud7Gb/w640-h498/KKUG6764.JPG" width="640" /></a></p><p><br /></p><p><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2048" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjIYNjvEWs0AbtNrXN48wj3tv4yPLQHZ1QoRyX6hr2QaV4oU-EH76ySghp24IkDqe_v3nQHM3tCdAYPEXaCoVSNqL0EQtE7EMq2w0WL1OANEC_iJAdxq1_zwdDrIeILZ3e8C_IbKPlGZoX/w640-h480/IMG_E0158.JPG" width="640" /></p><p><br /></p><p>Thanks for joining me!</p><p>~Stephanie</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br />Stephanie Davishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755654773604552885noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-599657331144680969.post-78497156966760509892020-09-29T07:20:00.005-05:002020-09-29T07:22:06.822-05:00Awesome Autumn Lawn Fawnatics Challenge<p> Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a card I've created, I finally had a chance to join the <a href="https://www.lawnfawnatics.com/challenges/lawn-fawnatics-challenge-85-awesome-autumn">Lawn Fawnatics Challenge</a> once again! As many of you know, we have just relocated to Florida. I love that I have a craft room again, after many years without one!! So, this is my first card I've made in my new craft room...I had so much fun making it! I used several stamps set as I always love to do. I've share all the details of how I made this cards in my latest <a href="https://youtu.be/5GCCjAn5SGA">YouTube video</a>:</p><p><br /><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQnnDb0jdE0FAaZ-PEVhXyz7dLxVflvTEIQtEjnajI268XtaMV7JVUx6j8jcqH23FtBu_FyPpzMTg6d1aLihoi29pcserO2e9tiFWyqoD-TqwxfafccvYpPhfEtv5ia3bGXGGT9fWCuGXq/s1820/IMG_0052.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1264" data-original-width="1820" height="444" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQnnDb0jdE0FAaZ-PEVhXyz7dLxVflvTEIQtEjnajI268XtaMV7JVUx6j8jcqH23FtBu_FyPpzMTg6d1aLihoi29pcserO2e9tiFWyqoD-TqwxfafccvYpPhfEtv5ia3bGXGGT9fWCuGXq/w640-h444/IMG_0052.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM3lkeQFZAdirQRG-_EpNndJODXhTE2iPTmu8EHxkNK_4TGeOj6o9fQQ8shmf8MRtA5vrCv6xEuqzmeEGt0KSzbp5gNOZ-nV_0IkCjty-FBTaKic4FvWk7FgQMN1qKwarklvUWDxhvIYT1/s2048/IMG_0038.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1133" data-original-width="2048" height="354" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM3lkeQFZAdirQRG-_EpNndJODXhTE2iPTmu8EHxkNK_4TGeOj6o9fQQ8shmf8MRtA5vrCv6xEuqzmeEGt0KSzbp5gNOZ-nV_0IkCjty-FBTaKic4FvWk7FgQMN1qKwarklvUWDxhvIYT1/w640-h354/IMG_0038.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p>Thanks for joining me!</p>Stephanie Davishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17755654773604552885noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-599657331144680969.post-42518024452628694982019-10-27T10:41:00.000-05:002019-10-28T10:05:41.824-05:00Rembrandt 48 Half Pan Watercolor set<br />
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing new watercolors from Jackson's Art Supplies. The <a href="https://www.jacksonsart.com/en-us/special-offers/royal-talens-sale/royal-talens-rembrandt-watercolour-paint-48-half-pan-metal-box-set-with-brush?___store=jacksonsart_us&acc=fe131d7f5a6b38b23cc967316c13dae2">Rembrandt 48 Half Pan Watercolor set</a>! I also have some pics of the </span><span style="color: #444444; font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Rembrandt color chart, that show the pigment info for each color. I have indicated which colors came in my 48 pan set. If you have tried these watercolors, I'd love to hear what you think of them. I can't wait to swatch them all out, and play with them to see how transparent they are...and how well they mix. I've read that the Viridian is hard to re-wet because it is the real deal, real Viridian. Apparently most manufacturers boost their Viridian with PG7, and true Viridian has much better lightfastness.</span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing my DT project for the <a href="https://www.not2shabbyshop.com/">Not 2 Shabby Shop</a>! This card was inspired my the <a href="https://www.lawnfawnatics.com/announcement/lawn-fawnatics-challenge-61-awesome-autumn">Lawn Fawnactics Challenge</a>, Awesome Autumn. I made this card when the challenge first started, but I couldn't get a chance to edit my video until now. So, I am barely squeaking in to enter it before the challenge closes. Lol Whew...this has been a super busy month with all kinds of ups and downs. I knew before the challenge I wanted to cut the ice skates off the mice in the Mice on Ice stamp set, and use them all year long. But, when I began creating this card I thought it would be fun to make the mice holding hands in the forest...and then discover they are in a spooky forest once night time comes! It was a ton of fun to make this card. I have a video on my YouTube channel, if you would like to check it out.</div>

Hello everyone! I'm excited to be back to share another fall card with you! I just adore the<br />
<a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/pumpkin-latte/">Pumpkin Latte Stamp set</a>, and couldn't wait to make a card with it. To create my card, I first splattered black and gold gouache onto the card base. Then I die cut a frame out of patterned paper using the <a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/frames-flags-die-set/">Frames & Flags Die set</a>. I popped the frame up using foam tape to adhere it to the card base. Then I stamped the <a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/pumpkin-latte/">Pumpkin Latte Stamp set</a> and embossed the images with gold embossing powder. I used some Sennelier watercolors to paint the images, and added a bit of detail with watercolor pencils. Then I dug through my scrap box to find a few alcohol backgrounds that I hadn't used in over a year. I die cut leaves from the backgrounds using the <a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/autumn-leaves-die-set/">Autumn Leaves Die set</a> and adhered them to the frame. I think my favorite may be the acorn, so cute! Did you know you can mix your alcohol inks to create the perfect brown?!? That way you don't have to buy ALL of the colors, especially colors you won't use often. I had mixed black and orange to make the brown alcohol background. I also added some gold, because everything is better with a bit of gold to me! I used foam squares to adhere the images on top of the leaves, and popped up the acorn as well. Then I added the sentiment from the <a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/christmas-haul/">Christmas Haul Stamp set</a>, embossed in gold to complete my card.<br />

I'm so happy to be back guesting again with <a href="http://www.newtonsnookblog.com/">Newton's Nook</a>!! Today I'm sharing a fall card inspired by the adorable </span><a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/autumn-mice/" style="-webkit-text-stroke: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px;"><span class="s2">Autumn Mice</span></a><span style="-webkit-text-stroke: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px;"> stamp set. My favorite way to make cards is to combine old and new stamp sets, it's so fun and I often can't help myself! When I began creating this card, I found so many sets that went perfectly to build a wreath of fall mice. First, I cut out my card panel out of using the </span><a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/frames-squared-die-set/" style="-webkit-text-stroke: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px;"><span class="s2">Frames Squared Die</span></a><span style="-webkit-text-stroke: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px;">. Then I stamped multiple images from </span><a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/autumn-mice/" style="-webkit-text-stroke: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px;"><span class="s2">Autumn Mice</span></a><span style="-webkit-text-stroke: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px;">, </span><a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/garden-mice/" style="-webkit-text-stroke: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px;"><span class="s2">Garden Mice</span></a><span style="-webkit-text-stroke: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px;">, </span><a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/pumpkin-latte/" style="-webkit-text-stroke: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px;"><span class="s2">Pumpkin Latte</span></a><span style="-webkit-text-stroke: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px;">, and </span><a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/harvest-tails/" style="-webkit-text-stroke: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px;"><span class="s2">Harvest Tails</span></a><span style="-webkit-text-stroke: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px;"> onto masking paper and cut them out. Then began building my wreath and attached all of the masks with washi tape to a circle stencil. This made it simple to place each stamp before stamping with my MISTI. I stamped each image with a no line coloring ink pad. Then colored all of the images with Copic Markers, using the no line coloring technique. I after coloring with Copic markers, I love to add even more shadows and detail with colored pencils. Then I stamped the sentiment from </span><a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/fall-fringe/" style="-webkit-text-stroke: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px;"><span class="s2">Fall Fringe</span></a><span style="-webkit-text-stroke: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px;"> with black ink in the center of the wreath. Lastly, I blended some Distress Ink in Aged Mahogany using the </span><a href="https://hallmarkscrapbook.com/products/newtons-nook-designs-falling-leaves-stencil-paw-prints?_pos=117&_sid=22b9094c8&_ss=r&aff=94" style="-webkit-text-stroke: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px;"><span class="s2">Falling Leaves Stencil</span></a><span style="-webkit-text-stroke: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px;">. I thought the blended leaves looked so beautiful peeking behind the card panel. I adhered the card panel to the card base using foam squares to complete the card. I had so much fun coloring all of these adorable images, it truly was a labor of love! I'm sooo excited to be guest designer for <a href="http://www.newtonsnookblog.com/2019/09/fall-is-my-favorite-color-card-by.html">Newton's Nook</a> this month! Today I'm sharing a shaker card I made using the beautiful <a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/fall-fringe/">Fall Fringe</a> stamp set. To make this card I stamped the images onto watercolor paper and embossed it with gold embossing powder. Then I watercolored the images with <a href="https://amzn.to/2ZO0SLf">Daniel Smith</a> and <a href="https://amzn.to/2MPYp0K">Sennelier</a> watercolors. Then I die cut the frame and card panel using the <a href="https://www.newtonsnookdesigns.com/frames-squared-die-set/">Frames Squared</a> Die Set. This die set made turning this card into a shaker card so easy! I heat embossed the sentiment onto <a href="https://amzn.to/2zJDaoH">Heat Resistant Acetate</a>, and assembled my shaker card.<br />

Today I'm sharing a third card I created with the new adorable Mice on Ice stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I created a spinner card to play along with the <a href="https://www.lawnfawnatics.com/announcement/lawn-fawnatics-challenge-59-something-see-through">Lawn Fawnatics Something See Through Challenge</a>. I have been so loving the new Lawn Fawn release!!! To create this card I stamped and die cut the mouse, and stamped again using the mirror image technique. Then I die cut them with the coordinating dies and colored them with Copic markers. Then I assembled my spinner card with a few Lawn Fawn dies. I love how easy this came together, it was so fun to make!!<br />

Today I'm sharing my project for the Not2Shabby Design Team. I've created two slider shaker cards using the Mice on Ice stamp set from the new Lawn Fawn release. I saw the <a href="https://www.lawnfawnatics.com/announcement/lawn-fawnatics-challenge-59-something-see-through">Lawn Fawnatics Challenge-Something See Through</a> and I knew I wanted to make a shaker card with these adorable mice skating on an icy pond. I stamped and die cut all of my images and colored them with Copic markers. Then I assembled my first shaker card, using patterned paper for an easy background. I assembled my shaker card, then I realized I forgot to cut a slider slit in the acetate. I had wanted to make the mice holding hands while skating, and I thought I would try to make a slider card using clear thread instead...and it worked! I used foam squares to attach the rest of the trees to complete my card. I created the next slider card almost the same way. I used distress oxide inks to create the night sky and moon, then assembled my shaker card. Then a went to Hobby Lobby to find flat beads instead...and my next slider card worked much better and is now the easiest way I have ever made a slider card!! I have a YouTube video, if you would like to see how I made it.<br />

Hello everyone!<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"> Today I'm sharing a Design Team project for the <a href="https://www.not2shabbyshop.com/Wild-Roses_p_8525.html?AffId=10">Not 2 Shabby Shop</a>! I used the no-line coloring technique to watercolor the florals from the gorgeous Wild Roses stamp set. I used Daniel Smith watercolors to watercolor the floral images, after stamping with Ink on 3 Fadeout Ink. I die cut the images with the coordinating dies, then splattered all of the images with white, gold, and black gouache. I added a bit more shading and detail using some watercolor pencils. I used Bouquet Builder 2 stamp set for the sentiment, and some berries from Honey Bee Stamps Spring Peony. I have a video on my YouTube channel, if you would like to check it out!</span><br />

Today I'm sharing a Christmas in July project for the <a href="https://www.not2shabbyshop.com/?AffId=10">Not 2 Shabby Shop</a>! I combined many stamp sets, and made a scene card to make a card I've had in my mind since the Butterfly Kisses stamp set came out. I'm also playing along with the <a href="https://www.lawnfawnatics.com/challenges/lawn-fawnatics-challenge-57-little-things">Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 57-Little Things</a>. I will have a full list of products listed below, and I have a video on my YouTube channel as well.<br />
<br />
To make this card, I cut a window out of the front panel and used distress oxide inks to make a brick background. Then stamped my sentiment for the front card panel. I then cut a window out of the card base, and out of patterned paper that will go inside the card. I added acetate and two layers of foam tape and made the window into a shaker card. Then I colored all of my images from multiple stamp sets. I attached all of the images, popping some up with foam squares to build my family of foxes at Christmas scene. I love foxes, and Butterfly Kisses is one of my favorite stamp sets ever...and I love using it all year long!<br />

Today I'm sharing a card and tutorial on my YouTube channel. I am using this to enter Lawn Fawnatic challenge 52-<a href="https://www.lawnfawnatics.com/challenges/lawn-fawnatics-challenge-52-pet-love">Pet Love</a>. The challenge is for pets, which in my dream world...I would walk out to Manatee's, sea turtles, dolphins and orcas in a giant aquatic santuary. They would still be wild and free, I would just be able to see them up close like they are my pets! I've thought about getting a salt water aquarium, for sea horses and starfish. But, I can't do that in good conscience keep those creatures that have to be happier in the wild. Of course, I will rescue a baby fox if I ever get the chance! Until then we will give Bella, our yellow lab all of our love!<br />
<br />
To make this card I used several stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn. I used Copic Markers to color all of the images and combined them with the Magic Picture Changer dies. This card was so fun to make, and the Magic Picture Changer die is super fun and easy to use!<br />

Welcome to the Galentine’s Day Blog Hop! You may have came from <a href="https://jaymamalme.blogspot.com/2019/02/galentines-day-blog-hop.html">Jayma's</a> blog, but this blog hop is a circle so hop on through. Today we are sharing Galentine's Day projects. Do you celebrate Galentine's Day?!? Me neither...Lol! But, I do love the show Park's and Recreation, and I love the idea of celebrating a day with my girlfriends...if only they didn't all live so far away! In my real world, we are already so busy with celebrations. Today is my birthday! Also, my anniversary was January 17th, so between my birthday and Valentine's Day...My kids have coined it ValenBirthdayVersary and we will be celebrating this weekend! And WHEW, I am going to need lots of wine! ;) </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><span style="color: #1d2129;"><span style="color: #444444; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="color: #1d2129;"><span style="color: #444444; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">I would love to start celebrating Galentine's Day, as a way to celebrate with my crafty friends! Most of which I have met online and never get to see, but they still mean so much to me. Since I hurt my arm awhile back, I was out of commission for awhile...and then, winter...even though it has not been very cold here in North Carolina. I'm just a big baby with all the gray days. I have a few crafty friends that have sent me cards and gifts, and I am really behind and returning the love. This will be the perfect way to send cards and gifts back! </span></span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><span style="color: #1d2129;"><span style="color: #444444; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">If I have any chance of doing this, it has to be a quick and easy card. I always have the best of intentions, but no joke, I have palettes of watercolors somewhere lost in my craft room...that had been drying and waiting to send with the *perfect* card, etc. With this quick card, I can easily make multiples, and quit waiting to find said palette.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><span style="color: #444444; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;"> If you saw my recent <a href="https://youtu.be/35weL571-4s">YouTube Video</a> for Rainbow Valentine Card, you now know what the otter was for! ;) I thought I could easily turn that card into a Galentine's Day card as well. To make the Galentine's Day card, first I stamped out the <a href="http://shrsl.com/1g056">MFT Valentine Wishes</a>. I simply masked off the V in Valentine with scotch tape. Then inked it up with Versafine ink, and used my MISTI to stamp it onto several cards. Then lined up the G from <a href="http://shrsl.com/1g2cd">MFT Handwritten Holiday</a> where the V was, while masking everything but the G off. Then stamped it with Versafine ink as well. I heat embossed it all the stamping with gold embossing powder. Then I stamped the otter from <a href="http://shrsl.com/1g2cl">Otterly Love You</a> with Gina K Amalgam black ink and colored with Copic markers. I added the otter to the inside of the card. I will add bunnies or coffee stamped images, to personalize the inside of each card according to the taste of the recipient.</span></span><br />

<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a cute Valentine's Day card with rainbow colors! </span><br />
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">To make this card, first I stamped using the <a href="http://shrsl.com/1g2hy">MFT Valentine Wishes</a> with VersaFine ink unto <a href="http://shrsl.com/1g04w">Gina K</a> cardstock. I then used small <a href="https://amzn.to/2GCYeBW">da Vinci Watercolor brush</a> to paint with <a href="https://amzn.to/2Go8dM7">Finetec</a> watercolors right over where I stamped. I absolutely love these sparkly spring colors! This gave a faux hand lettered look to the card. I painted each word in a different rainbow color, and then painted the hearts. After it was completely dry, I die cut the panel using <a href="http://shrsl.com/1g03x">MFT Blueprints 27</a>. Then I stamped out the bunny from <a href="http://shrsl.com/1g03o">Bubble over with Joy</a> colored it with copic markers and die cut it. I added foam square adhesive to the bunny to pop her up a bit, and positioned her like she is blowing kisses. I hope this rainbow valentine card makes my daughter smile!</span><br />

I stamped the images onto vellum paper and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Then I colored the images with Arteza brush pens and used the coordinating dies. I mounted them on white cardstock, to make to coloring show up brighter. I cut off one of the set of wings so they would show off the cute little wings better, and added some dots for detail. I placed one of the bees in the flowers, so it would appear to is having the flowers tickle him! Such an adorable stamp set!. I added a gold glitter frame to finish off my card and added the sentiment on black cardstock.<br />

I'm so ready for fall, which inspired me to make this card with the gorgeous set from <a href="http://shrsl.com/15k6r">Altenew</a>. This was such a quick and easy card to make. I stamped and heated embossed the images three times in gold. Then I used my <a href="https://www.jacksonsart.com/sennelier-watercolour?___store=jacksonsart_en&acc=fe131d7f5a6b38b23cc967316c13dae2">Sennelier</a> watercolors to paint the leaves. I added some gold and black flecks to the card base. Then I die cut the images and popped them up with foam tape. I added a bit of gold string and stamped the sentiment on black cardstock to complete my card.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://www.jacksonsart.com/sennelier-watercolour?___store=jacksonsart_en&acc=fe131d7f5a6b38b23cc967316c13dae2">Sennelier</a> watercolors don't get much love in the crafty world. They are gorgeous honey based watercolors, which are perfect for beginners because you can layer them with out making it look overworked. I have them linked below to Amazon, but I get them at <a href="https://www.jacksonsart.com/sennelier-watercolour?___store=jacksonsart_en&acc=fe131d7f5a6b38b23cc967316c13dae2">Jackson's Art Supply</a> (as well as most of my other watercolor's except Daniel Smith). You may have to wait a bit longer for shipping, but all art supplies are MUCH more affordable at <a href="https://www.jacksonsart.com/sennelier-watercolour?___store=jacksonsart_en&acc=fe131d7f5a6b38b23cc967316c13dae2">Jackson's</a>. The prices you see are another 18% off, once you select a shipping address in the USA or Canada, because they remove the VAT. So, for all of you drooling over my watercolor collection~that is my secret! I love my Daniel Smith watercolors as well, but they are much pricier than what I can find in the UK.<br />
