Newton's Nook Pumpkin Latte

Hello everyone!  I'm excited to be back to share another fall card with you!  I just adore the
Pumpkin Latte Stamp set, and couldn't wait to make a card with it.  To create my card, I first splattered black and gold gouache onto the card base.  Then I die cut a frame out of patterned paper using the Frames & Flags Die set.  I popped the frame up using foam tape to adhere it to the card base.  Then I stamped the Pumpkin Latte Stamp set and embossed the images with gold embossing powder.  I used some Sennelier watercolors to paint the images, and added a bit of detail with watercolor pencils.  Then I dug through my scrap box to find a few alcohol backgrounds that I hadn't used in over a year.  I die cut leaves from the backgrounds using the Autumn Leaves Die set and adhered them to the frame.  I think my favorite may be the acorn, so cute!  Did you know you can mix your alcohol inks to create the perfect brown?!?  That way you don't have to buy ALL of the colors, especially colors you won't use often.  I had mixed black and orange to make the brown alcohol background.  I also added some gold, because everything is better with a bit of gold to me!  I used foam squares to adhere the images on top of the leaves, and popped up the acorn as well.  Then I added the sentiment from the Christmas Haul Stamp set, embossed in gold to complete my card.

Thanks so much for joining me!  Have a great week!!
~Stephanie
