Lawn Fawn Sneaky Raccoon~How you Bean? Candy Corn Card

Hey everyone!  Today I'm sharing the card I made last month...that I'm just now getting around to sharing!  Lol  I've been having a few technical difficulties with my phone and laptop, storage issues etc.  But, I think I've got it all figured out now.  Fingers crossed!  For my card I stamped the candy corn images multiple times onto masking paper, and cut all of the masks out with my ScanNcut.  I then stamped a mound of candy corn on the card base with Versafine pigment ink, and embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I repeated this several times until I had a mound of candy corn big enough for the Lawn Fawn Lift the Flap die, and die cut the flap.  I then stamped one mound of candy corn on a second panel, to fit underneath the card base.  I stamped out the raccoon from Forest Feast and one candy corn, and embossed it with clear embossing powder as well.  Embossing the images makes it so much easier to color with the Ziggies.  I colored all of the images with my Ziggies and added some wink of stella.  I used some foam tape to pop the second panel, so it looks like the raccon is hidden in the middle of the mound of candy corn.  I have a card tutorial on my YouTube channel, if you would like to check it out.

Thanks for joining me!

Workin’ Hard or Hardly Workin’ Blog Hop

Hey everyone!  This month the Blog Hop with Hearts are sharing projects with a Workin' Hard or Hardly Workin' theme!  If you came from Kelly's fabulous blog, you are in the right place.  For some my card may seem to fall in the Workin' Hard catagory.  For me, watercoloring is so relaxing...it almost feels like therapy.  So, I don't consider it work at all!

To make my card first I stamped out Altenew Modern Deer with Memento Desert Sand ink.  Then I watercolored the deer using the No-Line coloring technique with my Daniel Smith watercolors to paint my card.  Then I stamped the Altenew Pine Tree the same way, just to give me a suggestion of where to watercolor.    My trick to getting perfect splatters is to use scrap pieces of acetate to cover up where ever I don't want splatters, then I can see right where my splatters go.  I used my all time favorite Finetec Pearlcolors Gold to add the splatters.  Then, I stamped out the sentiment from the Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set with Versafine Pigment ink.  Lastly, I added a suggestion of a hillside and some fall leaves just by loosely adding bits of fall colors.

Now hop on over to see the beautiful creation Becca has for you!  Thanks so much for joining me!
