Hey everyone! Today I'm sharing a quick and easy card featuring the Under the Cherry Blossom Tree stamps and dies, from Altenew! To make this card I stamped the cherry branches with VersaMark ink, and heat embossed them with gold embossing powder. I did this several times to create the branches. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the cherry blossoms out of acetate to use as my masks. Why didn't I think of this before?!? I could see exactly where the mask was, so there were no gaps! Then I colored all of the images with Prismacolor colored pencils. Quick and easy! I did make a YouTube video, if you would like to watch!

this is such a cool method to do it. I love the gold outline on the flowers. I also wanted to watch the YouTube video but unfortunately the video is not opening.
ReplyDeleteA very nicely executed tutorial regarding this card. The page is simple but I guess that is for the purpose of accentuating the simplicity of the task of card making. The overall outlook is nonetheless very nice.
