Photo Inspiration

Hey Everyone!  This month the Blog Hops with Heart are using a photo for inspiration.  If you came from Amie's Blog, you are in the right place.  We are using this beautiful rustic photo from Funky Junk Interiors as our inspiration.

I used the photo for inspiration, and adapted it to my style which is not very rustic, lol!  I actually made two cards to share for this blog hop.  For my first card, I tried really hard to use only CTMH products.  I've been looking at the CTMH stamp and Thin Cut set (Sugar Rush Cardmaking Bundle) as I've been feeling a bit guilty for not using it yet.  So, I decided to use the dies to make flowers for my card.  I went through my stash of CTMH sample packs, and found rustic papers from old CTMH paper packs.  I mounted them all on some new woodgrain CTMH paper that is gorgeous.  Then I caved and pulled out dies to cut the hearts from a Neat and Tangled.  The sentiment stamp is from Wplus9.  This was a super easy card, thanks to the Thin Cuts and lots of foam tape.  Here is the first card I made:

For my second card, I used the super cute stamp and die set Otterly Love, from My Favorite Things.  I combined it with the So Jelly stamp set from Lawn Fawn, and some hearts cut from Lawn Fawn dies as well.  I colored all the images with Copics, and made it into a shaker card.  The woodgrain background is paper from CTMH.

Next on the hop is Becca's Blog, you won't want to miss her take on this photo!

Thanks for joining me!
