Shooting Star from Mama Elephant

Hey everyone!  I have another card to share, from the Mama Elephant stamp set Shooting Star...yes, again!  I get hooked on things a love fast!  This was a super quick and easy card!  I used Stampin' Up cardstock, dies and stamps from Mama Elephant, sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, Copic markers o color the cute little girl and some random vellum that was from my craft room stash.  I hope you like it!

Thanks for joining me!

You're so Foxy

Hey everyone!  I have been busy playing with my Stampin' Up stash.  I love their solid core cardstock, LOVE Coastal Cabana, and most of the other In Colors from the In Color 2013-2015 color collection.  They have the cutest thick twine and sequins to match, but I held strong and refrained from using it all on one card.  Of course, my slight addition to sequins leads to a lot of shaker cards.  They are just so fun to make, and my kids love them too!  Here is my card:

Supplies Used:
All supplies from Stampin' Up unless noted
Cardstock-SU Coastal Cabana, Brown Sugar, Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush
Ink-SU Strawberry Slush, Momento tuxedo black, Coastal Cabana, VersaMark
Embossing folder-CTMH Woodgrain
Dies-Banner from Mama Elephant, Tags a Lot; Circle from Spellbinders
Sequins-SU In color 2013-2015
Stamp-SU Life in the Forest, Calling all Heroes, Countless Sayings 2
Acetate-craft room stash

Thank my lucky stars

Hey everyone!  I thought would share what I have been up to lately.  I love Close to my Heart stamps, but I will admit...I am a craft-a-holic!  I am a stamp junkie for sure.  I love almost all brands of stamps, and crafty items.  Papertrey Ink, Stampin' Up, Paper Smooches, Avery Elle, Lawn Fawn...I love it ALL!  Sometimes I think I spend more time shopping and hoarding then creating, lol!  So, here is my latest addiction~Mama Elephant stamps and dies.  As much as I love my Cricut machines, and my Explore...sometimes it is nice to just leave all of my "power tools" off.  Especially in the winter, when I spend most of my crafting time upstairs in our living room by the fire.  ;)

I used the Mama Elephant dies to make a quick and easy shaker card.  I used the Sew Fancy dies for the base of the card.  I used the Stitched Sky dies to cut vellum for the clouds and some metallic paper for the moon and stars.

I used Copic markers to color the cute new stamp from the January release, Shooting Star. Shaker cards are so easy to make with dies, and I just LOVE those new stitched dies!
