Damask Divas Chalk It Up Blog Hop

Damask Divas Chalk It Up Blog Hop

If you came from Michele's blog, you are in the right place. If you have jumped here and just discovered our blog hop, feel free to check out the Damask Divas blog to find the complete list of blog hop participants.

Hello everyone!  This month our blog hop is featuring the Chalk It Up paper pack, my absolute favorite paper pack...so far!  ;)

Our summer is going way too fast here, and we have been traveling most of it.  I'm trying to squeeze in all the time I can with my kiddos before school starts again!  I wanted to make a cute little box to give to my friend, who is having a baby.  I fell in love with a stamp set made for our Assie friends.

I used the Artiste Cartridge to cut out the box from our NEW Chalk It Up B&T.  For the Baby Boy tag, I placed our NEW Lagoon Washi tape on the CS.  Then cut out the image from the Artbooking Cartridge, using my Explore.  I added the NEW Hearts for some extra pop.  I colored the koala with a combo of our NEW ShinHan Touch Twin markers, and Copics from my stash.  Here is my project:

Thanks for joining me! The next great project on the hop is Sarah's blog!  If you just jumped in, you can find the entire list for the hop at the Damask Divas Blog.

Frightfully Fun~Halloween Fun!

Hey guys!  Here is another card I made using Scaredy Cat, stamp set Frightfully Fun.  I colored them all with ShinHan Touch Twin alcohol markers. I also used some liquid glass on the eyes, to make them pop a bit.  I added some Slate and Thistle CS and some Green Glitter paper.  I cut the card base with my Explore, and the cut is from Cricut Art Philosophy.  Thanks for stopping by!

Cute Koalas and Artfully Sent Sneak Peek

Today I am sharing with you my new fave stamp set!  It is so stinkin' cute!!!  It is Cute Koalas, a stamp set made for CTMH Australia customers.  I used almost all new goodies for my card, to play along with Mojo Monday 355.  The B&T paper is Confetti Wishes.  Don't you love the new Glacier and Thistle CS paired with Teal Glitter paper!  The label with Sweet Baby stamped on it, is an Artfully Sent cut.  I stamped the Koala out and colored with Copic markers {sadly the grey colors of our new markers have brown undertones~too brown to color the koala}.  I used ShinHan Touch Twin markers, so I used them to color the leaves and also to dot around the circle.  I just love the fine tip, great for getting in tiny edges of stamped images.  Also, they work just like Copics for my obsession with changing the color any embellishment that will hold still, lol!  All of the cuts on my card were from Artbooking.  Except the label~still waiting to hear the exact date Artfully Sent will be available...But, we have been told sometime in August.
