November Blog Hop~Feeling Flirty! Jazz up that Gift Card!

Hey everyone!  This month we are doing a blog hop featuring the Flirty paper pack by Close to my Heart!  Super cute and so versatile~I hate that it is going to retire soon!  I used my favorite cricut cartridge, the Artiste on both projects.  Please feel free to leave a comment or ask any questions!  I made two super easy projects...First I made a gift box for a baby shower.  I used stamp set C1501 New Arrival, Prisma glitter, and attempted to color the cute little elephant to look like a soft velour stuffed animal using alcohol markers.  It is the perfect little box to jazz up a gift card, or small gift!







Next I made a Christmas Card using the Artiste cricut cartridge.  It is a card that pulls out.  I used the Flirty paper pack and the stamp set D1440 Everlasting Life~I love that stamp set!!!  I used alcohol markers to color the pearls Ruby red.  It looks fabulous, but smears easily until they dry.

    Both of your projects are so pretty! Love the bow and the way you layered the frame around the elephant stamp. On the other card, I've been wondering how to decorate the outside.

    i just ordered the Artiste cartridge, so will have to try that Christmas card as soon as i get it! i also love your baby gift box...the bow is so cute! Thanks for sharing. i am one of your followers now

    Absolutely adore them both! The glitter is simply fab on that pattern paper. LOVE it. The card is just stunning. Beautiful job. :)

    OMG!! Stephanie! That box!! The Card!! Both are so awesome! Love the bow on the box. Super cute. The card is awesome. I haven't had time to really explore the carts yet but I hope to add that type of card to my list of cards to make this holiday season!

    I've not tried the Prisma GLitter but seeing the flowers with the glitter makes me want to try it :) THanks for the inspiration.
