Lawn Fawn Peacock Spinner Card
Hello everyone! I joined my very first Design Team, so I'm excited to share my first project for the Not 2 Shabby Shop today! As soon as I saw the cute peacock stamp, I knew I wanted to make the peacock shake his tail feathers! So, I decided to make a spinner card. When I saw the new Lawn Fawnatics challenge for spectacular skies...that inspired me to create a sunset background. To create my card, I used alcohol inks to create a background to look like a beautiful sunset. Then I colored all of the images with copic markers. I masked the head and wings of a second peacock to create the peacocks backside. And, yes...I had to google what the backside of a peacock looked like. Lol I added some palm trees which I die cut out of colored cardstock, then added shading with copic markers. I added some gorgeous gold ink for details and assembled the spinner card. This card was so fun to make, I can't wait to share the tutorial on my YouTube channel...as soon as I get some peace and quiet for my voice over. I'm entering this card in the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 53, I hope you played along too!
