End of Summer Blog Hop

Hey everyone!  If you came from Katy's Blog, you are in the right place.  This month the Blog Hops with Heart are sharing some End of Summer projects!  I'm always sad to see summer end, and the first day of school is bittersweet.  I'm made a back to school card, which I plan on giving to my son's teacher with a Target gift card.

I made a slider card, so all of these cute little boys move along the circle channel.  I used the August Stamp of the Month, School Year and the Little Boy Agenda stamp set from Mama Elephant.  I colored the images with Copics and then cut them out with my new ScanNcut 2...so this was a pretty quick card.  I used the Slide on Over dies from Lawn Fawn, to cut out the channel to allow all the little guys to slide around on the pencils...like they are skating into the first day of school!

Now you can hop on over to Amie's Blog to see what fantastic project she is sharing!  Thanks for joining me!

  1. Adorable...she will love it! The colors are perfect for a school card. Now I am curious to see how the scanNcut works - I have never seen one!

    1. I made an unboxing video, where I show me stamping and cutting these images out. I might get time to edit it, and post it to my channel. But, fair warning...You will want one!!! Hahaha!
