Merry and Bright Blog Hop

Hey everyone! Welcome to the Blog Hops with Heart Merry and Bright hop!  If you came from Amie's Blog, you are in the right place.

This month I was inspired by all the great stitching by my crafty friends Wendy and Kelly...and Jennifer McGuire.  Jennifer made a video showing how to make ornaments die cut with felt.  I thought I would try it out with some of my CTMH crafty stash.  I used the Cozy Christmas Thin Cuts and stamp set to make my project.  These are slightly embarrassing, to be honest...you can tell I do not sew, lol!  But, they were super fun to make with my kiddos!

Now continue the hop to Becca's blog!  You won't want to miss her amazing card!  Thanks for joining us!

  1. I love these, especially the one where you added a sequin to each stitch! I'm so gonna do that on a project soon, amazing crafty lady!

  2. My favorite part of these ornaments is that you made them with your kids. They will be a fun memory every year when you pull them out to decorate your home. Love how you stamped on the felt for the hat and scarf. I'm assuming that's White Daisy pigment ink. (???)

  3. I love these, Steph! I would have never guessed that you don't sew! They look awesome! Love how you stamped on the scarf...did you stamp the hat too?! So, so, so cute! Love that you made them with your kiddos too! How fun! These will be ornaments you cherish for years and years! Those types of ornaments are always my favorite. I love seeing the snowmen that Aidan made out of cotton balls when he was in preschool, or the painted ornaments he makes in school. Melts my heart each year I put them on the tree!
