Put it in a pocket

Hey everyone!  If you came from Shelly's fabulous blog, you are in the right place!  Thanks for joining us on this months Blog Hops with Heart!  This month we are showing how we use pockets in scrapbook layout, cards, and in my case...for my planner!

If you have visited my blog before, you already know I love pocket pages.  I have been using CTMH Flip Flaps for shaker cards for quite some time.  (I have a YouTube video on those).  I also love using them for my planner!  I love using them as I make-shift bookmark to plan out our days.  It makes it so easy to get back to that page easily, after it is over jot down memories I want to make sure and scrapbook.  Here is a few peeks at my latest pocket pages I made for my Filofax.  One is for our trip we recently took to Hawaii.  The next pocket page is for an upcoming trip to Disneyland.  I used mostly all new products from Close to my Heart, you have to check out the new catalog!

I used a Mickey punch from Joann's to punch out ears on CTMH black fundamental paper.  Love that stuff, wish I could get just black in bulk!  These were all super quick and easy, easy enough you can make them while staying at your mom's house, lol!  We are headed back to California now that my son has graduated~whoo-hoo!!!

Thanks for joining me!  Next on the hop is Jayma!  You won't want to miss her amazing project!

  1. Those gold embossed hibiscus are amazing ... Perfection.

  2. I second the black Fundamentals love! It is the first color I run out of! Your pockets are right up my alley--simple and amazing all in one! I can never get enough of your ideas for pockets, shakers, planners, you name it! :)

  3. First, what a fun element to add to your planner! Second, I am so impressed that you keep up with your planner. I did so well for about 3 months and have totally tanked! I so wanted to love it but I think maybe I just haven't found my style with a planner yet? Third, I'm so impressed with your coloring skills! Seriously, that flower! Gorgeous!
