Spring card

Hi everyone!  I'm so glad Spring is here, and I have been able to get back in my not-quite-as-cold craft room!  I've been playing with some new paper, it's a sneak peek of good things to come.  I used the Free to be Me paper pack which will only be available in May.  I have learned I LOVE my Explore!  I also love my ScanNcut.  I can't decide which I love more.  The Explore is definitely a higher quality machine, in my humble opinion.  The ScanNcut has frustrated me more, mostly with mat not loading correctly.  If I wasn't too lazy busy to I could use the Explore to cut out my stamped images.  Since I loathe fussy cutting, I'm keeping both machines.  So for my card, I cut the flowers, leaves and thank you sentiment using the ScanNcut.  All other cuts are from the CTMH Artbooking cartridge, using the Explore.  Cuts I chose were Pennant Frame, Scalloped Square, Square Frame, and Square.  The stamp set I used is Happy Autumn.  I used Lagoon pigment ink, with a touch of juniper to stamp the flower and then did some coloring with Lagoon alcohol marker, and Juniper marker to shade in a bit.  I love that CTMH alcohol markers and pigment inks play nice together!

Thanks for stopping by!

Here's a few more sneak peeks:
