Damask Divas Ivy Lane Blog Hop

Ivy Lane Blog Hop

If you came from Michele's Blog, you are in the right place. If you have jumped here and just discovered our blog hop, feel free to check out the Damask Divas blog to find the complete list of blog hop participants.

Hey everyone! This month our blog hop features the Ivy Lane  paper pack.
I'll be has been super hard for me to craft lately!  Between going back to work part-time, and how cold it is here in Missouri...After living in Arizona for six years, I came back to the mid-west a big baby!  But, the new spring CTMH catalog has lots of goodies!  I had to find a way to play~without braving my craft area in our finished basement.  So I made a mini-craft space in my living room, by the fireplace... I should have tried this a long time ago!

I thought the Ivy Lane was so perfect for Valentines day.  I just love the chevron print, and decided to pair it with the Feb. Stamp of the Month S1402.  I used Lagoon pigment ink to stamp the cute fox image, and used the Hopscotch Alphabet to stamp the "U R so" with pigment ink on the chalkboard shapes.  I'm in LOVE with the sequins from the Lollydoodle card kit, so I threw some on my card.  I turned the  light pink sequins the perfect shade I wanted using a Hollyhock alcohol marker.  Here is my card:

Thanks for joining me!   Scroll on down if you want more see a pic of my make-shift craft area.  I also had to share a new way a found to store my embellies such as sequins and M size stamps.

The next on the hop is Latisha's Blog!  Hope you have a great time on our hop and checking out all the creations using Ivy Lane. If you get lost, just hop on over to Damask Divas Blog for the full list.

So here is a peek of how I'm staying cozy...

I try to bring up only the bare shimmer trim, washi tape and of course lots of new stamps!  Speaking of stamps...I love the CTMH "M" size stamps, but they are little and I hated taking them in and out of the little envelopes.  So I decided to ditch them, and put them all in dvd cases.  Turns out I like the envelopes better to store all my fav sequins instead.  If you are a tad OCD like me!  :)

Thanks again for joining me!

  1. What a cozy little crafty space! Was it easier to clean up too? ;) I soooooo missed your posts! I KNEW you would change the color on something! ;) Super idea for storing those sequins, but I am going to use them up in no time, lol. I adore how you matted that heart with GLITTER!!!! :)

  2. Pretty card. Love your tip for storing the M stamps in a DVD case and then using the envelopes for embellishments - so clever.

  3. Oh so much fun here but this project had me at "coloring"! Love the entire card!

  4. Super cute! I need to do more custom coloring! I would never have thought to store M stamps that way! Awesome!
