Hey everyone! This month we are doing a blog hop featuring the Buzz and Bumble paper.
I'll be honest, it was not love at first site...lol.  I'm not a big fan of bugs or insects of any kind, besides the occassional butterfly.  But, I do love a challenge, so off to create I went.  It wasn't long before I realized the Creme Brule combined with Cranberry and Pacifica were a perfect match for Disney photos!  I used both CTMH cartridges, Art Philosphy and Artiste on my projects.  Here is what I came up with.  I used all CTMH products minus the Spellbinders die to cut the chevrons.  :)  Please feel free to leave a comment or ask any questions!

Hop Hop Hoppy Easter!!!

Hi everyone!  I have finally made it back in my craft room.  It has been a long, cold winter here with lots of snow!  I've been longing to be back in Arizona most days, to be honest!  But, thanks to some much needed sunshine, a space heater and discovering my husbands ugly wool socks...I have braved my cold craft room, which is in our basement.   It won't be much longer and spring will come, and I will have flowers everywhere as my reward!  :)

I love the CTMH Treat Tubes, and knew I wanted to make something fun for my 3 kiddos.   I modified the Bunny Box from the CTMH Artiste cartridge to slide a Treat Tube in, and cut out 2 extra bunnies.  I used pop dots and an adhesive spring to make two of the bunnies hop a little higher.  This is what I came up with:

Supplies used all CTMH:

Thanks for joining me!  Happy Easter!!!

Damask Divas For Always Blog Hop

Welcome to the Damask Divas For Always Blog Hop!

If you came from Ashley's Blog, you are in the right place. If you have jumped here and just discovered our blog hop, feel free to check the list at Damask Divas blog to find the complete list of blog hop participants.

Hey everyone! This month we are doing a blog hop featuring the beautiful For Always paper pack by Close to my Heart. I used the For Always paper
Pack
. I just love this paper pack, it is one of my favorites! I used my favorite cricut cartridge, the Artiste on all projects.

For my first project I used the For Always paper pack, and a beautiful stamp set B1418 Love Doily.  I embossed it with white embossing powder to show of all the detail.  I used retired Cranberry ribbon and blinged it up a little.

For my next project I was inspired by all the chalkboard artwork out there.  There are some great Youtube videos if you do a google search.  I used the For Always paper pack as background paper.  Then used the February Stamp of the month, Home Sweet Home.  I embossed the image in white embossing powder, and heat set it. Then I used a sponge dauber to add a touch of Blush and Sky pigment inks.  For the hearts I used the Artiste to cut out cardstock and Glitter paper.  Don't you love the new black glitter buttons?
I also used this for my Mojo Monday card, Mojo 278
and the Heart 2 Heart All that Glitters Blogs.

For my next project I had to use our new Paper Pouches and For Always Textiles~love them!  First I used my Ruby ink pad and swiped it inside the embossing folder, and embossed it in my Big Shot.  The I used a sponge dauber and a Blush ink pad to create a border.  I used cut outs from the Artiste cartridge, a banner from the Textiles {yes, fabric!} and a bow made from naked Color-ready seam binding ribbon.  The sentiment is from the Whooo's your Valentine stamp.

Remember to visit the Damask Divas Blog to enter the giveaway!  Yes, you can win a FREE stamp set!  This month I am giving away the stamp set from the Whooo's your Valentine kit, which is no longer available.  One lucky winner will be drawn, so make sure you enter for your chance to win!  Mandy will announce the winner on the Damask Diva Blog.  Good Luck!

Changing up our new Clear Acrylic Flowers!

Hey everyone!

I have been playing with some of new Spring products!  I made a card using CTMH cardstock and my new favorite paper pack, Chantilly!  I also had to alter something, of course!  Just like in my kitchen I can never just follow the recipe...I have to tweak it a little.  I'm the same way with paper crafting.  I love the change up the colors, think outside the box and see what else I can make!  I had to figure out a way to alter the new Clear Acrylic Flowers.  I use pigment inks on ribbon all the time, just like I showed you in my October Blog hop.  So I decided to try the pigment inks and it worked great!  I used Lagoon pigment ink to ink up the orginally clear acrylic flower, then covered with clear embossing powder, heat set it and I was good to go.  I love it!!!  Give it a try and tell me what you think.

New Spring Cards

It's almost here...My all time favorite season~Spring!

Here is a close look at a few projects I made.  All projects were made using CTMH products from the NEW Spring catalog.

For my first card I used the new Chantilly paper pack, and cardstock in black, pear, lagoon and cotton candy.  I used the stamp sets, Distrssed Backgrounds and Happy Thoughts with Versa mark, used clear embossing powder, and a heat gun to create a subtle background.  Then I cut out the flowers and leaves using the Art Philosophy cartridge.  I used Happy Thoughts again to create patterns on the cardstock using coordinating CTMH ink pads.  I stacked the flowers and embellished with buttons, twine, Chantilly Textiles and the flower on the upper left: it started as a clear acrylic flower.  I used CTMH pigment ink, clear embossing powder and a heat gun...to turn a clear acrylic flower into the color of my choice.  I also used My Friend for the sentiment.  I hope you like it!

The card I made was a pinwheel card using the Claire paper packet.  It was super quick, I tried to stay clean and simple.  I made the pinwheel and used the upcoming May stamp of the month Pinwheel.  I used Kraft, Outdoor Denim and White Daisy cardstock.

The last card I used our new Paper Pouches as an envelope I accessorized.  I used
Slate, White Daisy and Lagoon cardstock.  Just a sliver of the new Surf's Up paper pack, and new FABULOUS Washi tape and
4 My Friend again...

Here is the card using the same paper, cardstock and Washi Tape...Quick and simple using clouds cut out from the Artiste.  The stamp set is Card Chatter-Sympathy...This is a MUST have!  The sun is from New Baby.
